Privacy Policy
FurniQo Trade · Effective 10 September 2026
FurniQo Trade is a business-to-business furniture trade catalogue and inquiry app operated byAdvanced Software Solutions ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains what personal data the FurniQo Trade mobile app processes, why, and the choices you have. It also applies to the product content you publish through the app.
In short
- The app contains no advertising, no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs and no cross-app or cross-site tracking, and we never sell your data.
- We process your account details (email address, first and last name, account type), your catalog inquiries and messages, and — if you are a manufacturer — the product content you publish.
- The service runs on our own infrastructure; product media is stored on AWS S3 (EU, Ireland) and delivered through CloudFront; inquiry-reply emails are delivered by Resend.
- You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time: info@advancedsoftware.io.

2. Data we process
Account and authentication
- When you create an account we process your first name, last name, email address, password and chosen account type (Buyer or Manufacturer).
- Your password is verified by our identity provider (Keycloak) and is never stored by the app itself or written to our product database.
- Google sign-in: if you choose it, we receive your email address and profile name from Google to create or sign in to your account. The app never sees your Google password or an access token. Google processes that sign-in under its own policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
Data stored on your device
- A session reference (an opaque session identifier), your email address, account type and session expiry are kept in the operating system's secure storage so you stay signed in. Signing out removes them, and uninstalling the app always does.
- During Google sign-in a single-use cryptographic code verifier is stored temporarily and deleted immediately after the sign-in completes.
- Your chosen app language is stored on the device only. On first launch the app reads the device language once to preselect it; that preference never leaves the device.
Catalog inquiries and messages
- When you contact a manufacturer we process the message text, an optional desired quantity, the product and manufacturer you contacted, your account email address, and the time of your inquiry.
- The manufacturer you contacted receives your inquiry and your email address and may reply; their reply is emailed to you by our email provider (Resend), with the manufacturer's own contact address as the reply-to.
Manufacturer content
If you use the manufacturer portal we process your manufacturer profile (name, contact email, description), the product information you enter and the images and documents you upload. Product media is stored in cloud storage (AWS S3, eu-west-1) and served through our content delivery network (CloudFront). Anyone viewing the catalogue can see this content — treat everything you publish as public.
Technical data
Requests to our servers carry standard technical information such as your IP address and request time, which we keep in server logs for security and abuse prevention.
3. How we use your data
We process your data to: provide the catalogue and your account; authenticate you and keep you signed in; deliver your inquiries to manufacturers and their replies to you; operate the manufacturer portal (including storing and serving the product media you publish); keep the service secure and prevent abuse; and meet legal obligations. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell or rent it.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Where the GDPR applies we rely on: performance of a contract (your account, inquiries and portal use), consent (Google sign-in), legitimate interests (security logging and abuse prevention) and legal obligations.
5. Who we share data with
- Our identity provider (Keycloak) — verifies your credentials.
- Manufacturers you contact — they receive your inquiry and email address.
- Amazon Web Services (S3 and CloudFront) — product media storage and delivery (EU region).
- Resend — transactional delivery of inquiry-reply emails.
- Google — only when you choose Google sign-in, as described above.
- Public authorities, where required by law.
We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers or any other third parties for their own purposes.
6. International transfers
Our servers and the providers above may process data in countries other than your own (product media is stored in the EU, Ireland). Where personal data leaves the EEA or the UK we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
7. How long we keep data
- Account data — for as long as your account is active.
- Inquiries and messages — while your account is active and afterwards as long as needed for business records.
- Product content — until you delete it in the portal or ask us to.
- Device data — until you sign out or uninstall the app.
- Server logs — for a limited period for security purposes.
8. Security
Data travels over encrypted connections (TLS). Data held on your device is stored in the operating system's secure storage. Access to production systems is limited to personnel who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights and deleting your account
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, and you can object to our legitimate-interest processing or withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email info@advancedsoftware.io from your account's address (or tell us that address).
Deleting your account: email info@advancedsoftware.io and we will delete your account profile, sign-in data and the inquiries stored on our side. Product content you published may already have been shared with manufacturers or saved by them, and copies of media cached on the CDN may persist briefly after deletion. You can also delete all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the app.
If you are in the EEA or the UK and think we have mishandled your data, you may complain to your national data protection authority.
10. Children
FurniQo Trade is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The effective date above always shows the current version; for material changes we will notify you in the app where feasible.
